Biography: My name is Candice Carpenter and I absolutely live and breath scrapbooking and paper crafting. I have been scrapbooking since I was 11 years old…lifelong habits start early…But what a wonderful, creative and empowering habit to have!

I'd like to think my style has a bit of a vintage/retro hint along with a fresh trendy touch. I get a lot of my inspiration from flea market rummaging, home décor magazines and cinema. I am a vintage girl at heart. There will never be enough time in the day nor money in the world to accomplish all I'd like to in the world of crafting. But I will always try.

I recently have been lucky enough to make the hobby of scrapbooking and paper crafting into a full time business for myself. I am the proud owner/creator of Peacoats and Party Hats, an online boutique, and I also teach classes as much as possible at local and not so local scrapbook stores. I enjoy creating project kits and sharing with others the little joys I come across. I believe that sharing is one of the best parts of the crafting process. I'm honored to be a part of the Autumn Leaves design team. My work can be seen in Foof-a-Life , Designing with Details (July 07) and Designing with 2007 (Fall 2007). Dream come true. I live in SoCal with my Amazing husband Rory and our spastic cat Tipsy. I'm so in love with my family. Life is good.
