Biography: Laurie is all about making people smile and bringing a bit of whimsey to their lives. A former art teacher and graphic & package designer, she started her cottage business, GlitterWorksStudio, in 1999, and hasn't stopped glittering (literally) since. Her collection includes glittered fruit & veggie ornaments, sea stars, monogram letters, cards & tags, trinket boxes, bugs and just about anything else to which she can get glitter to stick, which she sells in shops, shows, online and at her Studio.

Just to keep things interesting, she also teaches Glitter 101 at workshops, is writing a book on glitter and has appeared several times on The Martha Stewart Show, where she shares her love of glitter in TVland. "I have a 30 second commute, can be available to my children and get to work all day with glitter, ribbons, paper and other beautiful things. And the best part is that my products make people happy. Glitter does that to people...Who could ask for more?" And yes, she does leave a trail...
