MATT CLARK

Biography: Ok, so this is totally new to me and I am a little scared but I am gonna have fun with this. First of all, my name is Matthew Clark and I am here to promote my little old hat company but I also want to entertain and get to know as many people as I can. Well let me give you a little recap on me and what led me to this oh so fruitful moment in time. I am a 37 kinda white male who grew up in the good old suburbs outside of LA in a little place called Agoura Hills. This is a place with a pretty shiny clean outside and a very dark underbelly of greed, lust and over priced shabby chic furniture. I am married to an amazingly beautiful woman and how this happened I'll never know but I am always aware people are looking at us funny because of it. We have two kids but no picket fence and no dog. I refuse to conform all the way. Anyways I know I am probably really boring you so let me get to the point. I have a fascination with movies and hats and since film school got me nowhere, I am working in high fasion headwear. I plan to intersperce a little movie review here and there just to keep things balanced. I have to say that I did see Cloverfield recently and I love the premise and all but the Blair Witch shaky cam thing just did not work for me. I hated that part of it and I hated the character who was holding it. The monster (from what you can see of it) looked really cool though. Honestly I am all for mindless monster movies but just keep it on a tripod or something. Genius minds worked very hard to come up with things to put cameras on. Give us stability and let them make some money. I do however think a number of the characters in the movie really could have benefited from wearing a fedora though. It would have given them so much depth and individuality. It really would have just clinched the deal for me. So this smoothly transitions me to my oh so capitalistic side and hats. Now I will say that this site is a work in progress but it does have all the necessary elements and I will really be working hard over the next few moths to improve it's design and functionality just so you are aware. I very much believe in the hat for two reasons. Would you like to know what they are? I'll tell you anyways. Fashion and protection. One is more important then the other and if you have seen Sex and the City, you know which one that is. I have so many styles to choose from and I think you will enjoy browsing and buying! I also give up to date information on the venues I will be selling at and soon I will hopefully have a store opening date. Hmm.. Melrose maybe. Hollywood. I am thinking Malibu this week. What do you think??? It is time that HATS dominate the world. They need to be seen and heard. They are just as good if not better then the belt or the glove dammit. Alright, gotta go. Til next time.
