Biography: Rebekah Iliff founded Smart Girls Consulting ™ in August 2007 after spending over ten years in the entertainment industry as a marketing specialist, producer, and public relations director in the hospitality and luxury lifestyle industries. Through her array of experiences working with over 200 organizations, from Fortune 500 and 100 corporations to privately owned organizations and individually operated foundations, Rebekah shifted her focus from entertainment publicity and marketing to organizational development using a personal philosophy that would eventually set the stage for SGC ™: "healthy organizations mean social and economic stability."

Prior to launching SGC ™ Rebekah served as the Public Relations and Business Development Coordinator for XA, The Experiential Agency, a comprehensive Event Marketing and Public Relations Agency with full service offices in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Her responsibilities included new business development in the Los Angeles area as well as client representation through public and media relations consulting. Clients included USA network, Sports Illustrated, Snow Queen Vodka, and Pepsico. Prior to her employment with XA, Rebekah was the Director of Marketing and Public Relations and Partner of Rockit Ranch Productions located in Chicago, IL. During her four year employment with Rockit Ranch, Rebekah produced and managed numerous celebrity events and fundraisers throughout the Chicago area, while creating and developing company owned restaurants and nightclubs both in Chicago and South Florida.

With her background as a professional ballet dancer, and a BA of Philosophy from Loyola University of Chicago's prestigious College of Arts & Sciences, Rebekah combined her knowledge of the arts with her social personality to become one of Chicago's favorite "it girls." She often contributed event profiles and interview to publications including the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Scene, Fashionista.com, Today's Chicago Woman, Red Eye, Red Streak, Factio-Magazine, WWD, and Chicago Social. In the spring of 2004, she was featured on FOX as the creator and hostess of one of Chicago's longest running "girl's night out" fundraising and networking mixers, CHICK FLICK. Rebekah was selected by Zagat's to serve on a marketing and public relations panel with other restaurant notables that included Charlie Trotter and Richard Melman in October, 2005 at the Peninsula Hotel in downtown Chicago. In November 2006, Rebekah was featured in Crain's Chicago Business as one of the leading young business women in the Midwest.

Today, in addition to her dedication to SGC ™, Rebekah is a Graduate Student at Antioch University Los Angeles obtaining her Master of Arts in Organizational Management with a Specialization in Applied Community Psychology. Rebekah is also an Executive member of the Business Council For Peace, and a sustaining member of The Foundation For Women. She dedicates ample time and professional services to these organizations in an attempt to raise awareness for important social issues such as women's rights, microfinance, and developing small businesses in post-conflict countries as a catalyst for peace and stability.
